Leslii Stevens is the founder and owner of CoyDog Botanicals & Yoga, a Hudson, Massachusetts-based wellness practice offering trauma-informed yoga, Pilates, movement training, sound healing, Ayurveda-inspired wellness, and private coaching.
An ERYT500-hour yoga teacher trainer, YACEP, trauma-informed yoga teacher, Ayurveda practitioner, Reiki Master, sound bath practitioner, and movement educator, Leslii brings an integrative, real-world approach to healing, strength, mobility, and nervous system support.
Her work is rooted in lived experience.
Before becoming a yoga teacher, Leslii spent years touring the world in the music industry as a media professional and photographer with the Experience Hendrix tour Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd Beth Hart and many others, documenting some of rock music’s most iconic performers. A serious knee injury sustained while shooting on tour became a turning point in her life — one that eventually led her to yoga, recovery, movement education, and a completely different path forward.
That path was anything but linear.
Leslii's teaching is deeply informed by personal experience navigating injury, recovery, anxiety, panic, PTSD, chronic stress, neurodivergence, and the realities of rebuilding strength in both body and life. She understands firsthand that wellness is not one-size-fits-all, and her classes reflect that truth.
Known affectionately by students as the “Yogi Mechanic,” Leslii blends anatomy, nervous system education, movement science, humor, practical tools, and a healthy amount of real-life language into her teaching style. She can happily geek out about fascia, vagus nerves, lymphatic health, synovial fluid, breath mechanics, mobility, resilience, and why your hips might secretly be running a 24-hour complaint department.
Her classes combine trauma-informed yoga, Pilates principles, strength and mobility training, restorative practices, breathwork, mindfulness, and Ayurveda-inspired wellness in ways designed to be accessible, adaptable, and deeply human.
Leslii works with a wide range of students, including individuals navigating chronic pain, anxiety, trauma recovery, PTSD, nervous system dysregulation, injury recovery, stress, and major life transitions. She is especially passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies safely, build sustainable strength, and discover that movement can be supportive rather than punishing.
She also works with individuals impacted by grief, mental health challenges, and suicide recovery, using movement and nervous system regulation tools as part of a compassionate, trauma-aware approach to wellness.
At the heart of Leslii’s work is a simple belief:
Healing does not require perfection.
Movement can be intelligent, compassionate, adaptable, science-informed, and occasionally a little wicked cool.
Through CoyDog Botanicals & Yoga, Leslii offers group classes, private sessions, workshops, sound experiences, and wellness education designed to help people move better, breathe deeper, regulate their nervous systems, and feel more at home in themselves.
Based in Hudson, Massachusetts, she teaches across multiple locations and welcomes beginners, experienced practitioners, recovering perfectionists, skeptical humans, anatomy nerds, overwhelmed nervous systems, and anyone looking for a different way into wellness.
